Went on a bird watching expedition on Sunday, February 25 - The birding trail that includes
the spoil area on Little River road is a beautiful place to see all forms of wildlife.
For those of you who like to walk for exercise, it is the perfect place to enjoy the view of
nature and "do your body good" at the same time.  

Hopefully, the City of Bayou La Batre will soon remove the waste that was buried there after
Hurricane Katrina and become better stewards of our environment.
As you enter the site
You will see that individuals have used example set by

Even though just a few feet apart, you can tell where buried
contaminants are infiltrating the water
in puddles after a spring rain
