Say NO to Imported Shrimp!
Do we have businessmen within our seafood community that import shrimp?
Do those same businessmen have separate company's that own shrimping vessels or
process domestic seafood?
Do the businessmen that own the shrimping vessels and the additional company
importing shrimp receive funds from the government claiming a loss as the result of
importation of shrimp from other countries?
-IT'S ALL IN A NAME - The Name of the Company That Is......
Different company name, different assets, different losses. Do you work for one of
these companies?
Why do our waters which in the past thrived with seafood now constitute a dead zone?
There are 2 outfall pipes that empty into Portersville Bay. One is from the seafood
industries waste and the other is from the City of Bayou La Batre's Waste Water
Treatment Plant.
